Production has started on Fast and Furious 7, and Vin Diesel couldn't be more excited.

Universal Studios posted this video of Diesel from the Atlanta set on the very first day of filming. In the clip, the actor thanked the fans for their support of the film.

Last week, Vin Diesel revealed that shooting for the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise was underway, via his Facebook account.

Diesel first wrote "Seven... Has begun..." on his Facebook wall. He then followed it up by posting a picture of him and co-stars Paul Walker and Nathalie Emmanuel from the first day on the shoot.

James Wan will be directing and Jason Statham will be playing the antagonist, Ian Shaw.

The cast for this installment includes Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel,Ludacris, and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens champion, Ronda Rousey, and ONG Bak star, Tony Jaa, will also play important roles.

Fast and Furious 7 is set to premiere in theaters July 2014.
