Ellen played host to pop icon and former *NSYNC collaborator Justin Timberlake just in time for the release of his newest album.

Following the success of last March's The 20/20 Experience, the 32-year-old musician spent the early part of the summer recording a follow up album, The 20/20 Experience Part 2 of 2. Hitting shelves today, Timberlake can add to release to his list of 2013 accomplishments, a list that also includes a 15-minute performance and a brief reunion of his old boy band at the MTV Video Music Awards.

"That was a performance that because your being given the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, you're like, ok, no pressure," Timberlake said of his nerves before the performance.

However, he wasn't alone on stage. While a vast majority of the songs came from the singer's solo work, Timberlake did pay homage to the band that propelled him into the spotlight, *NSYNC.

"I think people sort of found out a couple of days before," Timberlake told Ellen DeGeneres of the surprise reunion. "Because we haven't done it in ten years and all of us are old now, we did have to rehearse for a while."

However, it didn't take long for the former group to fall back into old routines.

"After about 30 minutes of joking around and rehearsal...it got very serious. It was just like old times again."

The 20/20 Experience Part 2 of 2 is currently available via RCA.
