In a recent interview with The Sun, Ronnie Wood, suggested that the Rolling Stones would be making a big comeback in February next year.

"While the big wheel is rolling, we are going to capture it before it stops totally," Wood said. The guitarist also mentioned that the band was in part motivated by the response they got to its 50th anniversary concerts, which included a debut performance at the Glastonbury festival.

"Everybody had a smile on their face, which was brilliant," he said.

He revealed that the band will reunite for another set of shows in February. But a band's spokesperson told NME that there were "no firm plans yet."

Two sold-out headline dates at London's Hyde Park in July were the band's latest concerts. The recorded Hyde Park gigs will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on Nov. 11 as Sweet Summer Sun - Hyde Park Live. The DVD will include the entire performace and backstage footage.

Last month (September 4), the band announced plans to release their Hyde Park gig on DVD and Blu-Ray in November. The film, titled 'Sweet Summer Sun - Hyde Park Live', will be released on November 11 and captures the band's full performance, a full two-hour set plus backstage footage.

A live recording of the concert is also available as an album on iTunes.

In an interview with Classic Guitar published on Oct. 11, Joe Satriani spoke about working with Mick Jagger as part of the super group, Chickenfoot.

"He had all of the open tunings, he dressed like Keith and he did the whole thing. I could be all of the lead guitar players that had come and gone through the Stones' and Mick's career," he said. "He was a great, unbelievable career booster and gave me carte blanche to use anybody on the staff to help promote the album anywhere we were in the world and it was really fantastic, and he gave me a solo spot in the show as well.
