Prepare for a whole lot of pink tutus, tiaras, and that rich Essex accent, as it was just announced that Sophia Grace and Rosie are set to star in a new NBC comedy series and film, both of which will be produced by Ellen DeGeneres.

The two girls, shot to fame when DeGeneres first brought them on her show in 2011, to sing their cover of Nicki Minaj's Superbass. Since then the girls have not only been frequent guests of on the Ellen Show, but have hobnobbed with celebrities, covered the red carpet at the American Music Awards, and even written a children's book.

The cousins, 10 year-old Sophie and 7-year-old Rosie will be the lead characters of the primetime comedy show. DeGeneres' production company, A Very Good Production, is producing in association with Warner Bros TV. The project has been set up with NBC with a script commitment, and the search for a suitable writer is underway.

The direct-to-video film, which is also being co-produced by Warner Bros., will be written by Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott and directed by Brian Levant. The cousins will be playing versions of themselves in a plot wherein they are sent to be correspondents at a royal coronation, in which one of three princesses will be chosen to lead the country. The two girls will help the best candidate win.

Enstars rounded up some of the girls' best bits over the past two years.
