Kim Kardashian Wedding After Kanye West Engagement: Nuptials With North West Father 'Will Be Huge' (Proposal VIDEOS)
A source revealed Kanye West's wedding to Kim Kardashian will be as lavish as his engagement proposal.
An insider told E! News that the couple's wedding is "going to be huge."
Kardashian previously stated that after two failed marriages-- including an over-the-top televised wedding to Kris Humphries in 2011-- she would rather have a small wedding with just close friends and family if she walks down the aisle a third time. The source said West's plans to marry the mother of his daughter North West, however, are different. There will reportedly be a lavish wedding that is the "size of the capital."
West proposed to Kardashian at the AT&T Stadium in San Francisco on her 33rd birthday on Monday, Oct. 21, according to multiple reports.
The Watch The Throne rapper rented out the stadium and arranged for the jumbo screen to read: "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!"
Youtube founder Chad Hurley recorded the special moment. In the clip, an orchestra plays music inside the stadium in the darkness and when the lights turn on, West is on one knee while Kardashian holding her face in her hands is in shock. After he stood up, she hugged and kissed him. Members of Kardashian's family then ran out the middle of the stadium to congratulate the couple.
The footage also shows Kardashian and West singing his song Turn On The Lights and an intimate gathering where she is being toasted for her birthday.
West reportedly asked her for her hand in marriage with a 15-carat engagement ring designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Kardashian described the event on Tuesday "as truly magical!!!" to E! News.
"I am the luckiest girl in the world!" the mother-of-one said, adding, "I get to marry my best friend!"
An eyewitness who attended the event also described it as "magical."
A source told Us Weekly "it was the most romantic thing ever -- the ultimate surprise!"
Another source told the magazine that the over-the-top proposal was "so amazing" that even men who witnessed it had cried.
The rapper "personally invited" about 50 guests to witness the planned surprise. The audience included 20 of Kardashian's family and friends. West also had guests from Chicago, several "Silicon Valley billionaires" and the owner of the San Francisco Giants.
