Tina Knowles has definitely moved passed her ex-husband Matthew Knowles, as she stepped out with her new man on Tuesday.

Beyonce's 59-year-old mother appeared on the red carpet at the Angel Ball in New York City with her brand new boyfriend, actor, Richard Lawson. 

Sources told E! News that the fashion designer, who is responsible for many of Beyonce's hot outfits danced with the actor throughout the star-strudded evening. 

An eyewitness said the new couple looked "very cute together" at the event. 

Tina looked gorgeous, as she stunned in a long sleeve black lace gown with feathered hem. (See more photos here:)

Lawson, most known for his role in Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls opted for a black suit to match his lovely date. 

On the red carpet, Tina said that both she and Beyonce were dressing up for Halloween and that Blue Ivy would be joining them. 

"Beyoncé has about five outfits picked out for her and she has yet to make a decision," Tina said. 

"They are very excited all to dress up this year.

Back in Nov 2009, Tina filed for divorce from Matthew after reports swirled that he had an affair with actress Alexsandra Wright and fathered her son, Nixon. Matthew and Tina ended their 31-year marriage in Dec. 2011. 

While Beyonce has never publicly discussed her parents' problems, she explained in her documentary, Life is But A Dream, her reasoning for dropping her dad as manager as her way of being free and having complete creative control of her career.
