Miley Cyrus vs. Eiza Gonzalez: Liam Hemsworth's Mexican Lover Used Him to Further Her Career, Sources Say

Liam Hemworth confirmed earlier in the month that he is currently single and sources recently stated it is because he found out his lover was using him to get media attention.

Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez was in a relationship with the Hunger Games star in order to propel herself onto the public eye and further her acting career in the United States, according to insiders. She moved to Los Angeles

She met Liam Hemsworth during a weekend visit to Las Vegas with friends in September, just two weeks after she moved to California, and the two partied together in Spin City.

Once Hemsworth found out what she was up to, their romance ended. He even confided in his ex-fiancee Miley Cyrus, telling the Wrecking Ball singer he is no longer dating Gonzalez.

"Liam told Miley he's not seeing Eiza anymore. He found out that she was tipping off photographers; she was totally using him!" a source revealed, according to She Knows. "Miley is thrilled obviously - it's street justice, especially after Eiza was so cocky about things."

Less than 24 hours after reps from both parties announced Hemsworth and Cyrus were ending their 15-month engagement, the actor was spotted kissing Gonzalez outside her Beverly Hills home on Sept. 17.

The source continued, "[Miley has] forgiven Liam. But his hookups with Eiza and the way he was so open about it really hurt her, so in a way she's kind of glad he got used. Maybe it was a lesson he needed to learn."

Many who know Gonzalez said she has no qualms sleeping around to to further her career and that she has does so many times, according to Examiner. The report also noted that Cyrus is not sorry Gonzalez used Hemsworth. The pop singer sees it as justice because she was deeply hurt by how quickly her ex-fiance moved on after their split.

However, she reportedly feels Hemsworth's experience of being scorned by a woman may have taught him a lesson and paved the way for them rekindle their romance.
