Liam Hemsworth opened up for the first time about details of his personal life following his separation from Miley Cyrus and rumors of him dating a Mexican actress he was photographed kissing.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star denied dating Eiza Gonzalez and confirmed he is currently single in a recent interview with Extrapublished Tuesday. The 23-year-old also mentioned the woman he was engaged to for 16 months, expressing his joy for how much Cyrus has accomplished in her career.

Asked where his relationship stands with Cyrus today, Hemsworth said of the 20-year-old Wrecking Ball singer "I'm extremely happy for all of her success." He also confirmed that he is not in a relationship with Gonzalez, who he was spotted kissing on Sept. 17 outside her Beverly Hills home less than 24 hours after announcing his split from Cyrus.

"I don't have a lady at the moment," the Aussie said.

Hemsworth has stayed busy promoting Catching Fire, which releases in theaters Nov. 22. The film had its world premiere Nov. 11 in London and its entire cast, including Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hucherson, attended the star-studded event. Hemsworth stopped by Late Night with Jay Leno on Nov. 5 and talked about the film's plot as well as how co-star Lawrence acted completely unfiltered on the film's set.

He also talked about being uncle to four nieces and said he does not see himself having children until "way in the future." He added, "I love watching my brothers raise their kids and not have to do it for myself and have the responsibility."

Talking time out from shooting The Hunger Games: Mockingjay to support his brother Chris Hemsworth, Liam attended the premiere of Thor: The Dark World at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre on Nov. 4.
