Phillip Phillips Steals the Show with Last Performance on American Idol Finals [VIDEO]
American Idol kicked off its last performance show Tuesday with Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips giving it all to win.
Sanchez and Phillips delivered great peformances last night but the talk of the night was Phillips' last performance "Home."
Phillips performed with his guitar dressed in a dark green jacket, gray shirt and black pants. He had said he would be"looking a little sexy" on the finals.
His performance included a huge marching band entering from both sides of the stage and three backup singers.
It was the last performance of the show and Idol judges gave him a standing ovation.
The audience also stood up to cheer for the 20-year-old singer.
Steven Tyler predicted he was going to win. "I think you are the man," Tyler said.
Randy Jackson "loved" Phillips' performance.
"I loved the song, I loved you, I loved the production, I loved the marching band , everything about that was perfect. I loved it. True artist performance," he said excited.
Jennifer Lopez also liked it and said there was nothing in the radio right now that sounded like Phillips.
Phillips' other two performances were "Stand By Me" on the first round and "Moving Out" on the second one.
The first round went to Jessica, the second was declared a tie and the third went to Phillips.
The results air tonight at 8 p.m.
