Tyrese Gibson took to social media to remember his good friend, Paul Walker, who was tragically killed in a car crash over the weekend.

"My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don't understand," he wrote under an Instagram photo of the two of them. "My heart hurts it's broken no one can convince me that this is real."

The two, who costarred in 2003's 2 Fast 2 Furious, recently also celebrated Walker's birthday. Tyrese uploaded a video, which captured a happy moment between the two friends as they enjoyed Walker's turning 40 in September. In the video, Walker is seen smiling right before he blew out his birthday candles.

"Not just a family on camera were a real family," Tyrese wrote.

The R&B singer also uploaded a photo where he stood, visibly upset, with director John Singleton. Singleton, who directed 2 Fast 2 Furious, consoled Tyrese during the devastating time. Tyrese explained that the two spoke about memories they had with Walker.

"I remember the day I had that line 'Hey man you got Sumthin to eat up in there we hungry'," Tyrese wrote about a scene from the movie. "Me and PW couldn't stop laughing and could probably only use one take..... I still can't sleep but I'm starting to find my smile again... We love you!"

Tyrese also showed the last conversation he ever had with Walker as they exchanged Happy Thanksgiving text messages. "At least I got to say I love you," Tyrese captioned the screenshot.

On Nov. 30, Walker was a passenger in a red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that crashed into a pole and burst into flames in Santa Clarita, Calif. Both the actor and the driver, Roger Rodas, were killed. Walker was 40 and Rodas was 38.

A video also filmed at the site of the fatal car accident caught Tyrese shedding tears for Walker.
