Chaka Khan and Fantasia Shouldn't Have Worn That Catsuit on American Idol [Photo]
Chaka Khan performed at the American Idol live final results show last night with the Top 12 girls. But while her performance was fantastic and her voice boomed over the audience, all eyes were on her catsuit that she chose to don. She wore a super tight-fitting catsuit with sequins running up and down, hugging her figure in all the wrong places.
Now Khan, 59, does not have to have a perfect body to pull that off - but sometimes even legendary superstars should learn to stop dressing like a twenty-year-old. Fair enough, she did lose a lot of weight recently.
But more shocking than Khan's catsuit was Fantasia's leg-baring catsuit she wore, which some say is the worst fashion choice she could have ever made. Fans were swift to react to the hideous catsuit Fantasia wore.
"What was with Fantasia's catsuit? I'm thirty minutes behind, but I just SAW Fantasia's BEHIND," said one tweet.
Another tweeted: "Fantasia's split, sequin catsuit might be the single worst article of clothing anyone has ever worn. And that's not hyperbole" .
Meanwhile, after the results show, Khan said backstage that she would love to take Jennifer Lopez's spot as a judge on American Idol if she decides to leave the show. "They don't vote on that, do they? Yeah, I'd do it," Khan said to Zap2it. "They could use some truth up there. A little bit of truth, honesty. I'd like that."
Coming up for Chaka Khan - she is slated to perform a tribute to Whitney Houston at the Apollo Hall of Fame gala June 4, according to the New York Post.
