Former NBA star Lamar Odom cut a plea deal on Dec. 9 in his DUI case to serve a sentence of three years probation.

The 34-year-old who is married to Khloe Kardashian, 29, entered a plea of no contest in exchange for the sentence, according to E! News.

He was also ordered to pay $1,814 in fines and complete an alcohol education program by June 9, 2014. He still has a suspended license due to his refusal to take a Breathalyzer test at the time of his arrest.

Odom was arrested on Aug. 30 and charged with driving under the influence after police spotted him driving in an erratic manner near the Coldwater Canyon off-ramp on the 101 freeway. He was not speeding at the time.

Odom was unable to perform a field sobriety test and refused a chemical one. He was released from jail the next morning after posting a $15,000 bond.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges in October.

Odom has been working at making a comeback for his basketball career, which saw him playing for teams including the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

The star and his wife have also been plagued with endless rumors of an impending divorce following Odom's treatment for drug and alcohol addictions and reported infidelities.
