Cameron Diaz is not afraid to show off her fresh-faced look.

The actress took to Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 11 to share a makeup-free photo of herself. In the close-up shot she sports a navy sweater while holding onto her new book and smiling at the camera. The Annie star, who only recently joined both Twitter and Instagram, posted her first fresh-faced pic on the photo-sharing site in honor of receiving the first bound copy of her nutrition book.

In The Body Book, Diaz shares her formula for becoming happier, healthier, and stronger in a guide "that is grounded in science and inspired by personal experience" according to publishing house Harper Collins. "Learning about the inseparable link between nutrition and health was just one of the life-changing lessons that sparked Cameron's passion to explore the best ways to care for her body. In The Body Book, she shares the knowledge she's gained both from personal experience and from consulting with health experts."

Diaz is not the only star to post a makeup-less photo Wednesday on the social media website. America's Got Talent judge Heidi Klum opted for an extreme close-up and added a filter to her bare-faced selfie. She captioned the image, "Still tired ......still on the road!!!!!!!!!!!!"
