Miley Cyrus and rapper French Montana are now rumored to be dating after they shared a warm hug at a New York City hotel over the weekend. 

Reports also indicated that after performing at Z100's Jingle Ball concert on Friday, the "FU" collaborators were seen getting cozy.

"Miley was doing some post-show flirting with French Montana before leaving MSG [Madison Square Garden] and heading to the after-party," a source said. 

HollywoodLife. com also claimed that the 21-year-old Wrecking Ball singer was dancing on the 29-year-old rapper, who reportedly has a girlfriend.

"She was grinding on his lap... They were getting super close and flirting while drinking out of the same cup," the source said. 

But Cyrus claims that there is nothing going on with Montana, as she took to Twitter to address the rumors on Sunday, Dec. 15. 

"DONT hug your friends goodbye unless you wanna be rumored 'dating,'" the singer tweeted her 16 million followers. "I wanna think more of the world but people just keep proving their stupidity."

Meanwhile, Cyrus and ex-fiance, Liam Hemsworth were reported to be rekindling their romance after they have been exchanging text messages. 

"He pushed to get back in touch," a source said. "[Miley and Liam] are talking like they did when they were together.'"

"She's confused about how she feels," the source claimed. "Liam, however, is definitely sure that he wants Miley back."
