Justin Bieber 'Retiring,' But Sings For Fans as Christmas Present [VIDEO]
Justin Bieber celebrated his first Christmas as an "officially retiring" singer by, ironically enough, singing.
The 19-year-old pop star posted on five acoustic audio clips Dec. 25, calling them a "Christmas present for #beliebers." While the camera stayed focused on the blinds the whole time, the Canadian sang snippets of U Smile, Confident and Swap It Out.
Bieber celebrated the holiday with his family and Instagrammed a "Snowy Christmas" photo of himself with little brother Jaxon, dad Jeremy Bieber and friends posing alongside a snowman. He tweeted on Thursday, "Blessed to spend Christmas with my family. Hope everyone around the world had a blessed Christmas as well. Much love."
The Boyfriend singer announced he was "officially retiring" on Tuesday, but then promised to "never leave" his fans.
"My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring. The media talks a lot about me," he tweeted. "They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle…Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER."
The news came less than 24 hours after his Believe documentary hit theaters on Christmas Day and a week after his interview with Power 106 radio station where he said he was going to quit the music business. He told a radio jockey, "I'm retiring, yeah. I'm taking a ... I'm just gonna take some time. I think I'm probably gonna quit music."
