MTV's Teen Wolf has tweaked its opening sequence in advance of the season 3B premiere, a fact that must be taken into consideration when contemplating who may die during the next 12 episodes.

Series creator Jeff Davis recently announced that an upcoming character death may affect the opening credits as the drama moves ahead into season 4. If this is true, Teen Wolf's new opening should read like a short list of whose next on the chopping block.

Extremely similar to season 3A's credits, the new format continues to feature Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, and Holland Roden. This knocks an incredibly large number of characters off the writers' hit list, including Isaac Lahey (Daniel Sharman), Kira (Arden Cho), and the Alpha twins (Max and Charlie Carver).

Slightly darker than it's predecessor, the clip mirrors the "psychological thriller" aspect of the upcoming episodes and only contains two changes - one of which stems form Scott's (Posey) new role as the True Alpha. Where the young werewolf's eyes once glowed yellow, his irises now sport a deep red hue. Meanwhile, instead of closing out with a mirror image of a dirty body, the clip now ends with the image of a black skull.

Teen Wolf returns to MTV on Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. ET.
