Royal wedding bells might not be ringing for Prince Harry and his long-time girlfriend Cressida Bonas, as sources say it's possible they'll be ending things soon.

Ever since the royal, 29, returned to London after his month-long trek for the Wounded Warriors charity in Antarctica, his relationship with 24-year-old Bonas has been on the rocks, Mirror reported Sunday. Prince Harry is said to be the one backing away from the relationship.

"Talk of Harry and Cressida getting married could not be further from the truth," a source told the newspaper. "Indeed it wouldn't be a surprise if they go their separate ways soon. It is actually Harry who has been moving on."

Prince Harry is choosing his career over Bonas, the source went on to say.

"He is incredibly fond of Cressida and loves her company but he has commitments and plans in other areas of his life that could be jeopardized by settling down. It is not what he wants at this time in his life."

Another source added that speculation of the two preparing to tie the knot is a factor causing them to go in opposite directions.

"In some way false reports about Cressida and Harry settling down and getting married have added to the pressure on their relationship. It is the constant expectation that has frustrated Harry and in some ways contributed to the realization he doesn't want such a commitment just yet," the source said.

The 200-mile walk for charity has given Prince Harry a different outlook and a new focus, according to insiders.

One of his friends said, "It allowed him to work on his other great passion of raising awareness about wounded servicemen and women...We can expect a lot more from Harry in the next 12 months, campaigning and helping those who have been injured serving their country."
