When Internal Affairs opens up an investigation into the death of Chin Ho Kelly's father on Hawaii Five-0, the former cop lets his emotions run amok in a new sneak peek.

Chin's (Daniel Dae Kim) father was killed during a convince story robbery 15 years ago, and the Honolulu Police Department has finally uncovered the identity of the shooter in "Hana lokomaika'I (The Favor)." However, the case will hold ties to Chin's deceased wife, Mailia (Reiko Aylesworth), and their early relationship.

A sneak peek for Friday's episode shows Chin in an interrogation room as two members of IA question him about Malia and her brother (see clip below). Apparently, as Chin was getting to know his future wife, he apparently overlooked something incriminating about her sibling.

Although Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Kono (Grace Park) try to help Chin keep a level head, the enraged son will be firing his gun at one point and relinquishing his badge at another.

Meanwhile, fans will get to see a teenaged Kono. A pro surfer before becoming a cop, Coral Prince Surfing scooped up the young talent at age 15. After eventually begin waylaid by an injury, Kono moved on to the join the rest of her family in law enforcement. Perhaps "Hana lokomaika'I" will give the series a chance to show off the newly retuned investigators previous life.
