Werewolves have never been the Winchester's favorite subject, and their experience with the lunar monster may only get worse when one of their own appears to be converted.

Garth Fitzgerald IV (DJ Qualls) will be making a return to the Supernatural world in next Tuesday's "Sharp Teeth," but not all is well with the quirky hunter. Unseen since season 8's "Southern Comfort," Garth dropped off the map while he was supposed to be protecting Kevin Tran (Osric Chau). When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) eventually find their friend in a hospital, things take a turn for the strange when the former-dentist flees from them.

It appears that Garth has found that elusive something hunters are often lacking - love and a family. However, it may have come at the cost of his humanity. Although Garth confesses to being a werewolf in the "Sharp Teeth" preview, Qualls warns fans not to put too much stock into the clip.

"Gonna live tweet next week's #Supernatural episode. Join me," Qaullis tweeted following the release of the preview on Tuesday night. "I won't speak about what you saw. Keep in mind, promos can be misleading..."

While fans are left to wonder if Garth really has turned to the dark side, "Sharp Teeth" writer Adam Glass assures viewers that at least one good thing will come out of the episode - the Winchester brothers will have a little chat about recent events.

"Told u that the first 2 #SPN episodes back rocked. Was I right? Next [DJ Qualls] an[d] get ready 4 the boys 2 finally air it all out," Glass teased on Twitter.
