NCIS: Los Angeles' Granger is back in town, and the assistant director will be spending a little extra time with Deeks while his partner is away.

The CBS drama will return on Feb. 4 with "War Cries," and new episode stills from Spoiler TV (see gallery above) show that the LAPD liaison will be momentarily partnering up with Granger (Miguel Ferrer). Only time will tell if the stoic agent can weather Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) laid back, mildly sarcastic nature.

"Paired up with [Eric Christian Olsen] for the first time today. Found some very interesting moments together. Terrific actor and a great guy. #NCISLA," Ferrer tweeted on Dec. 12 as the cast began filming for the Scott Gemmill penned episode.

While Kensi is left on her own to find the White Ghost and root out the mole in Afghanistan, Hetty's (Linda Hunt) team will handle the investigation into the deaths of two military contractors and protect a witness of war crimes. In the meantime, Sam (LL Cool J) will be meddling in Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) love life, or lack there of.
