Despite a looming mob war threatening everyone in Port Charles, love may be in the air for one of the hospital's nurses and a lab tech on General Hospital.

General Hospital: Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014

In a preview clip for the Thursday, Jan. 23 episode, RN Felix (Marc Samuel) will come to Lab Tech Brad's (Parry Shen) defense when he is chewed out by the new Chief of Staff, Dr. Olbrecht (Kathleen Gati).

"Hey! Leave him alone," Felix said in the clip.

The moment could result in the two making a potential love connection, resulting in them finally dating after months of coming to one another's aide amid sexual tension.

However, the romance could be doomed if the mob war between the Corinthos and Morgan clans gets even more intense than it already has.

Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) has firmly realigned himself with his father, Sonny (Maurice Bernard), much to the chagrin of his former lover, Ava Jerome (Maura West). Now, he is not only constantly having his loyalties to his father tested, but has a massive target on his back as well.

His actions could result in him becoming the Jeromes' next target in the war.

"We need to figure out what to do about Morgan," Julian (Michael DeVry) said to Ava in the clip.

However, Sonny's gang does not plan on holding back for very long, and may be planning their own attack on the sibling duo.

"Tonight, we strike back," Sonny said to Morgan and Duke (Ian Buchanan).

Meanwhile, Julian's recently re-discovered son, Lucas (Ryan Carnes) will confront his mother, Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) and sister, Sam (Kelly Monaco) about the news concerning who his father is.

"Why didn't you tell me that my biological father was still alive?" he asked.
