The Simpsons has a new promo for the Super Bowl, which guest stars Zooey Deschanel.

The clip shows the New Girl star in animation as she introduces the episode and the yellow family starts singing lyrics to the Super Bowl's theme music. They also start mocking the FOX network as news anchors from FOX Sports tell them that they're bringing football back to its roots.

Deschanel is seen wearing a white coat with blue scarves and earmuffs as she holds a microphone.

"Hi, I'm Zooey Deschanel, and I'm so excited to be contractually obligated to introduce America's favorite family, The Simpsons," Deschanel says as she extends her arm out.

The Simpsons Season 26: Which Character WON'T Die?

The family starts singing and talking about how cold it is in New York for the Super Bowl.

"Why couldn't we be in New Orleans where the weather is as hot as burboun street jazz," Lisa says with excitement.

"The National Football League always knows what it's doing," Marge responds. One of the FOX Sports members doesn't find Marge's comment to be "enthusiastic enough."

"Yeah, football overruns are the only reason FOX is still a network," Homer whispers to Marge.

Simspons character Cletus also makes an appearance where he is supposed to battle a robot with the same name. Cletus is covered with protection, but the robot picks him up and breaks his back.

The Simpsons airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on FOX.

The Super Bowl airs on Sunday, February 2 at 3:30 p.m. on FOX.
