Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson may have spoiled the identity of who he could be playing in Man of Steel 2, a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman.

An Instagram photo posted by The Rock has been making its way around the Internet, a photo that includes the caption "#JohnStewartCanStillWhupSupermansA--." The Rock wrote this caption along with a photo of himself and his trainer, indicating that he could be playing John Stewart, a.k.a. Green Lantern.

The Rock addressed this again on Twitter after an IGN article speculated on whether or not he was confirming his casting as Green Lantern. The actor replied, "All I said was.. #LanternCanWhupSuperman."

This response leaves his potential casting as Green Lantern still up in the air as he neither confirmed nor denied the possibility.

Presuming The Rock signs on to play Green Lantern, he would be joining an all star cast, including Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred.

"I've seen a picture. It's excellent," Damon said, adding: "I've talked to him about the storyline, and it's great."

As for the quality of Man of Steel 2, Damon suggested that he has confidence in the project and Affleck's involvement.
