Jennifer Garner recently silenced rumors that husband Ben Affleck was dropping out of Man of Steel 2.

Garner spoke with Detroit Sports 105.1 recently and confirmed that she and Affleck would be in Detroit, Mich. through the summer for Man of Steel 2 filming.

"I'll be there [Detroit] this summer... yep, all summer," Garner said. "My husband is [filming]. Batman is shooting and...or whatever it is called. I don't know what it's called...Superman with Batman, whatever it is. But he is shooting this summer, so we'll be there."

Affleck has attracted various rumors about dropping out of Man of Steel 2, including rumors that he was clashing with the movie's screenwriter David S. Goyer. Garner's comments suggest that such rumors are not legitimate.

Affleck is a part of an all star cast for Man of Steel 2 that includes Henry Cavill returning as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
