The Men's Snowboard Halfpipe Finals will take place at 12:30 p.m. EST / 21:30 Sochi time, and the event can be live streamed via NBC Olympics Live Extra.

There are 12 snowboarders who have qualified for the finals after the previous Qualification and Semifinal rounds that took place earlier in the day.

Among the competitors are USA representatives Shaun White, Gregory Bretz and Danny Davis, Switzerland reps Iouri Podladtchikov, David Habluetzel and Christian Haller, Chinese representatives Wancheng Shi and Yiwei Zhang, Japanese competitors Taku Hiraoka and Ayumu Hirano, Slovenia rep Tim-Kevin Ravnjak and Australian competitor Kent Callister.

Based on the results of the Qualification round, the main competitors to take home the gold will be White, Hirano, Hiraoka, Davis and Zhang who each received scores in the 90s in either their first or second run.

Thus far into the 2014 Winter Olympics, Norway is leading the medal count with 11, with Canada the Netherlands and the United States trailing behind with nine, eight and six, respectively. The U.S. could inch closer to the top if any of their three Halfpipe finalists receive a medal.
