'Jurassic World' News: Casting Tidbits, Steven Spielberg Details & New PHOTOS Of The Set Discussed [VIDEO]
Jurassic World is on its way and here is an update on all the gathered information so far.
Jurassic World Plot Being Slowly Leaked?
First of all, it was confirmed that Chris Pratt would take on the leading role, and he made a statement to QMI Agency about the Jurassic Park films.
"For me, Jurassic Park was really kind of my Star Wars, Pratt said. "I lined up at the theater to see it, I saw it opening night, I saw every sequel, I've seen it a whole bunch of times...for me, that was my big movie, I think I was 13 or 14 when it came out. And so it's a big deal for me to be any part of that, let alone this part I'm going to be playing. I'm thrilled about it."
It also appears that Pratt's character will be a blend between Sam Neil and Jeff Goldblum's characters.
Bryce Dallas Howard will also star in the film.
The film is set to begin filming in Hawaii this April. On Wednesday, On Location Vacations posted photos of part of the set in Kualoa Ranch where the original movie was filmed. The photos show an outside view of plants, mountains and a misty sky.
Steven Spielberg, who directed the original Jurassic Park film, is set to executive produce this film.
There is also a possibility that the film will be shot in IMAX since it will be shot on 35 MM and 65 MM.
Jurassic World is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
