The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is in a bit of a rush to kick off her and her husband Joe's fraud trial.

She asked a federal judge to push up the date of their pretrial hearing, Radar Online reported Thursday. She reportedly also plans to ask the judge if she and Joe can get separate trials.

A letter submitted to the court reads, "As of now, the motions' potential impact on the trial schedule, we respectfully ask the Court to consider moving up the hearing on pretrial motions to the earliest time convenient for the Court to hear motions and render a decision."

The request also refers to Teresa and Joe's charges, including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud and making false statements on loan applications, as "so-called allegations."

Joe and Teresa reportedly hope to have different trials because they feel they would be better able to defend themselves separately. But prosecutors want them to be tried together.

An opposition motion they filed reads, "[Joe] has provided false testimony under oath on multiple occasions. There's no guarantee he would testify at all since his lawyers has previously said he wouldn't."

As far as Teresa, her loyalty to Joe is reportedly in question after rumors circulated that he was having an affair.

A source recently claimed, "I think she's finally starting to realize it: 'I better cover my own [butt]. I have four kids to take care of...She's supporting [Joe]. Could you imagine supporting some bastard who is running around spending your money on somebody else? Awful. I don't get it."

As of now, Joe and Teresa's trial is scheduled to begin in April.
