The Women's Hockey semifinals continue at 12 p.m. ET with Canada and Switzerland facing off at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Canada and Switzerland will compete against each other to see which country's team will go against Team USA in the finals.

Canada is predicted to beat Switzerland in the semifinal game, having already beaten them 5-0 in the preliminary round. Assuming they beat Switzerland, Canada will advance to the finals for the fifth consecutive Olympics, having won the gold medal in the last Olympics.

Canada has also already beaten Team USA in the preliminary round and has a perfect record thus far in the 2014 Olympics.

Switzerland has had a much more difficult time in Sochi, but they were able to pull off an upset in the quarterfinals against Russia.

Thus far into the 2014 Winter Olympics, Germany is leading the gold medal count with seven, though the Netherlands has the most medals total with 17. A gold medal win would help Canada, Switzerland or the United States rise in the rankings if they were to win the Women's Hockey gold medal.
