After doubts about the intellectual bond that she and Juan Pablo shared, The Bachelor frontrunner Sharleen Joynt left the show.

Sharleen Joynt Leaves Juan Pablo, on The Bachelor

On the Feb. 17th episode of ABC's The Bachelor, Juan Pablo Galavis lost his chance at being with Joynt, a contestant whom he was very fond of. Before she decided to pack her bags, he confessed to the cameras, "Being with Sharleen feels perfect, I knew since day one I liked this girl."

Unfortunately, viewers noticed Joynt's hesitation towards Galavis for a while now. Before the couple's one-on-one date, the opera singer was determined to make a decision regarding whether or not she would stay on the show after their time together.

While putting on her make-up, cameras caught her saying, "If by the end of the day I don't see this mental connection, I think I'd be wasting both his time and my own."

This weeks' episode took place in Juan Pablo's hometown of Miami, Florida. All of the girls accompanied him to the sunny vacation spot, but Sharleen Joynt was asked on the first date.

Galavis took her on a yacht where they had dinner and discussed the possibility of Joynt moving for him and his daughter, Camila. In what appeared to be a change of heart, she responded, "I'm at the point where I have different priorities than I did." She continued, "I like change. I can deal with it. Change is good."

However, after Galavis took contestant Nikki Ferrell on a one-on-one date to see his daughters' recital and dinner on Marlins' Park field, he returned to his room to find a very upset Joynt. She finally revealed to him, "The idea of proposal doesn't seem like something that is possible for me," she said. "I don't want to take the spot of someone else who is at that place. I don't want you to think that I've wasted your time."

Juan Pablo sadly accepted her decision, and also eliminated Chelsie at the rose ceremony.

Next week, the remaining contestants - Clare, Renee, Andi and Nikki- will bring Juan Pablo to their hometowns to meet their families.

The Bachelor airs Monday nights at 8/7c on ABC.  In the meantime, watch the latest episode highlights below.
