Kerry Washington flaunted her glowing baby bump Saturday at the NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, Calif.

The 37-year-old pregnant first time mother-to-be has yet to reveal the baby's sex, but she showed off her growing stomach in a custom blue and peach silk Thakoon gown with a match Prada clutch bag while walking the red carpet.

Washington did not walk the carpet with husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, but a source told People magazine that  the couple are both gearing up for their first child.

"Kerry and Nnamdi are ecstatic," a source said.

She snabbed the award for outstanding actress in a drama series award for her role in the hit-ABC drama, Scandal, which will return to television screens this Thursday, Feb. 27. No word on whether or not Kerry Washington's real-life pregnancy will be incorporated into the script.

Actor Joe Morton, who plays Washington's on-screen father, Rowan Pope won the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series role. Scandal also won the coveted Outstanding Drama Series award.

According to a new sneak peak from the show's for mid-season 3 premiere, it shows Rowan making a serious threat, telling Olivia, "Everyone should be very afraid. If I were you, I'd be terrified."

It also shows President Fitz angry at Cyrus and Mellie who seemed to have joined forces against the President and Harrison loading a gun.

Fans can expect to see more romantic moments between Fitz and Olivia.
