The Afghanistan cricket team will be playing against India's team in the next game of the 2014 Asia Cup series at 2 p.m. BST.

Afghanistan is set to face off against India on Wednesday afternoon in the ninth game of the 2014 ACC's Asia Cup. The teams will be playing at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh, home to five cricket matches in the 2014 Asia Cup.

With eight games having been played in the 2014 Asia Cup, Afghanistan and India have had very similar runs. India beat Bangladesh in the second game of the tournament by six wickets but lost to Sri Lanka by two runs in the fourth game. They also lost to Pakistan by one wicket.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan beat Pakistan by 72 runs in the third game of the Cup but lost to Bangladesh by 32 runs in game five and lost to Sri Lanka by 129 runs in game seven.

India cricketer Ambati Rayudu recently discussed his thoughts going into his team's game against Afghanistan.

"They are a very good bowling side as we have seen in the competition. We need to keep our head down and make sure we get runs," he said.
