The Bangladesh cricket team will be playing against Sri Lanka's team in the next game of the 2014 Asia Cup series at 2 p.m. BST.

Bangladesh is set to face off against Sri Lanka on Thursday in the ninth game of the 2014 ACC Asia Cup. The teams will be playing at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh, home to the final five cricket matches in the Asia Cup.

At this point in the Cup, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka could not be any more different. Sri Lanka has won all three of their games thus far in the tournament, winning by 12 runs against Pakistan, by two wickets against India and 129 runs against Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh lost to India by six wickets, Afghanistan by 32 runs and Pakistan by three wickets. As such Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are the most and least successful teams in the Cup, respectively.

Bangladesh cricketer Anamul Haque recently spoke about his team's lack of success in the 2014 Asia Cup, via the AFP.

"It is very important to develop the winning habit," he explained. "I think we lack that experience, so maybe that's why we keep losing from winning positions. We are learning a lot from these situations. The mistakes I am seeing right now, won't exist in the future. We will start winning close matches."
