Bangladesh will be playing Hong Kong on Thursday in the next game of the World T20 series. The teams will be playing at Chittagong Divisional Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Thus far in the 2014 World T20 series, there have been a total of eight matches played.
Bangladesh won the first match versus Afghanistan by nine wickets while Nepal won the second match against Hong Kong, winning by 80 runs. Ireland beat Zimbabwe in the third match by three wickets and The Netherlands beat United Arab Emirates by six wickets.
Next, Afghanistan beat Hong Kong by seven wickets and then Bangladesh defeated Nepal by eight wickets.
On Wednesday, Zimbabwe defeated the Netherlands by seven wickets and Ireland defeated the United Arab Emirates by 21 runs.
As for Thursday's Bangladesh vs. Hong Kong match, the latter's team captain Jaime Atkinson discussed the importance of winning and moving forward.
"It is the opportunity for Hong Kong to try and take their biggest scalp," Atkinson said recently. "It would be the biggest win in Hong Kong's history, probably one of the biggest shocks in World Cups. That's what will be driving the team forward in the hope that we can make history and potentially beat Bangladesh."
