Kevin Hart, who is undoubtedly one of the most successful comedians since Eddie Murphy, had his superstar status solidified when Oprah Winfrey came to his house to discuss his skyrocketed success.

Last night on OWN, viewers saw a different side of America's favorite funny man, Kevin Hart. This year alone, he has had two blockbuster hits with Ride Along and About Last Night, proving that he is indeed the Entertainer of the Year the NAACP dubbed him last month.

While he still added in his own small jokes while talking to the queen of all media, most of the interview showed fans a side of Hart that is more endearing, perseverant, reverent, grateful, and loving than ever before.

Oprah, who always seems to bring out the best in people, traveled to his California home to sit down with him for two hours. They discussed everything from his bond with his late mother, his seemingly overnight success, his decision to cheat on his wife, his adorable children and his new relationship with model Eniko Parrish.

There were many great moments during their on-camera discussion, but for those of you who missed it, Enstars gathered seven the best moments of the entire night.

1. The touching 'Bible' story that made Oprah's jaw drop.

Kevin Hart told a touching story of his mother that made Oprah Winfrey gasp, proving how great the story actually is.  His late mother, Nancy Hart, agreed to help her son get on his feet after he decided to pursue comedy instead of going to college in an effort not to be a "dream killer." Soon after, Kevin's bills started to pile up and he was in desperate need of the promised money.

He told Oprah that a little faith and discipline from his mom kept Hart from getting evicted. Watch the story, below.

2. Proving that he is an underdog who finally got his chance.

After an 18-year-long journey, cancelled shows, horrible movies (Soul Plane was named the worst movie ever), being hit in the face with a saucy chicken wing on stage and countless other war stories, Hart's success is proof of what happens when dreamers persevere. Though most saw Hart's latest blockbuster hits and sold out tours as an "overnight" phenomena, he told Oprah that it took everything he had to get where he is today. "I put in my time... I stayed true to my dreams."

3. His immense appreciation of the quality time he spends with his kids and how he is committed not to raise brats.

For every project Hart takes on, he has to be allowed three days off every week, which he uses to catch up with his two adorable kids, 8-year-old Heaven and 6-year-old Hendrix. Though he has countless awards, record-breaking performances, and millions of fans worldwide, he told Oprah that his favorite moments are when his kids say, "Dad, you're so cool." Winfrey also asked him how he plans to keep them humble when they have access to everything, to which he responded, "Your kids are as grounded as you make them."

Fun Fact: During the end of the interview, Kevin introduced his children to Oprah. He instructed his kids, "Ok, now don't wipe that off for a long time... Hugging Oprah is like being baptized."

4. His confession that he still believes in love after divorce and his views of cheating on his ex-wife.

Kevin Hart and the mother of his children, Torrei, officially split in 2011. In Let Me Explain, he revealed that he lied to and cheated on his wife and while it makes for a funny joke now, he does not approve of what he did. He told Oprah, "I did wrong, but I don't away from that." Now, he and Torrei are friends and he has been in a happy, 5-year relationship with model Eniko Parrish. While the lovebirds are not walking down the isle anytime soon, he did admit that "it is a thought." He often posts cute pictures of his children with his girlfriend on Instagram. He recently posted a picture of Eniko and Oprah after the interview. Under that is a picture of his ex, Torrei.

5. He loves social media just as much as everyone else does (Even though he has way more followers).

Instagram, Twitter and Facebook have become the main channels of communication between Hart and his fans. With over 10.4 million people who follow his every tweet, he uses it to get feedback, respond to admiration and dislike and to clear things up. With Hart, what you see is what you get on the internet and in real life. Watch his explanation of why social media is so important in the clip below.

6. He credits his success to the success of other comedians.

In his spacious home, Hart has pictures of the comedians who set a trail for him to follow. In the foyer, he has paintings of Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy hanging, as well as art featuring Bill Cosby, a fellow Philadelphia native whom he modeled his career after. He explained to Oprah that he has the icons on his walls because, "I surround myself with a constant reminder of who's great... My drive is other people's success."

A fan posted the picture below, showing various comedians in their prime decades.

7. The truth behind his tear-filled Madison Square Garden thank you to his fans.

Hart sold out two performances at MSG during his Let Me Explain global tour. After 18-years in the industry, to see his dreams come to life has been overwhelming for the 34-year-old comedian. During his last performance, he gave his fans an important thank you that left many in tears, as the raw, often explicit show came to a touching end. He told Oprah, "I never told anyone this, but I had to just take a moment to myself." He felt his mom smiling down from heaven, who is the main reason why he was able to pursue his dreams in the first place.

For anyone who missed it, the re-air happens Sunday, March 30 at 8/7c on OWN.
