Filming for The Avengers: Age of Ultron has made its way to Italy, and fans received their first glimpse of Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch in the process.

'Avengers 2' To Explore Black Widow's 'Dark Past' & 'Trauma', Prelude To Scarlett Johansson Solo Film?

Last weekend, the sibling heroes made their debut with Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) in the ruble of an Aosta city street. The newest members of the Avengers, Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) flexed their superhuman talents in a battle against Ultron (voiced by James Spader), the film's main baddie (see photos here).

The pair suited up for the scene, or at least Quicksilver did. While Quicksilver's aerodynamic silver/blue suit gives him a markedly different look than the regular Pietro Maximoff, Scarlett Witch is virtually indistinguishable from Wanda Maximoff as she fights evil in a black dress and red jacket.

'Avengers 2' To Feature The Falcon? Anthony Mackie Talks Possible 'Age Of Ultron' Appearance

While it is uncertain how Magneto's children will come in contact with the rest of Earth's mightiest heroes, Age of Ultron writer/director Joss Whedon promises that the merging of the two groups will not be without it's rough patches.

"You know, they had a rough beginning," Whedon told IGN of the mutant siblings upbringing. "They're interesting to me because they sort of represent the part of the world that wouldn't necessarily agree with The Avengers. So they're not there to make things easier. I'm not putting any characters in the movie that will make things easier."
