Miriam Weeks, the Duke University student and porn star recently posted a story on her life in the X-rated world and how she was enticed by the "rough" style ever since she was a kid.

The story that the 18-year-old posted on XO Jane March 18 delves into her past and how she felt sexual arousal as a child in a situation that was not quite so intimate.

"Ever since I was a young child, I've had some masochistic tendencies," Weeks wrote. "When I was a young girl and my friend and I would play house, I would ask her to lock me in her dog cage. I was not fully aware of it, but it physically and mentally aroused me. I didn't know why, but I liked it. Suddenly, I found myself in an entirely different role. I felt for the first time what it was like to be helpless and trapped. It was exciting. It was different."

Miriam Weeks Debuts As A Stripper?

Weeks talked more about sexuality as well as feminism, and how it is possible for a woman to experience both despite what anyone else says.

"This is completely paradoxical," Weeks wrote. "A woman cannot preach feminist empowerment during the day and at night participate in what we have constructed to be stereotypically submissive behavior. Why is that? Why is that we have to adhere to the ascribed gender roles of the patriarchy?"

Weeks, whose porn name is "Belle Knox" recently revealed in an interview with Huff Post Live how other students at Duke University found out about her work as she received vicious threats as well as petitions to have her expelled.
