The New Zealand cricket team will be facing off against the Sri Lanka team in the 2014 World T20 at 1:30 p.m. GMT.

New Zealand is scheduled to play Sri Lanka on Monday in the next game of the World T20 series. The teams are set to play at Chittagong Divisional Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka captain Lasith Malinga recently spoke about his new leadership position and how it would affect things going into the game against New Zealand.

"It's a good feeling to captain my country for the first time. I really like to get challenged in my bowling or in my career," he said. "This is a good opportunity for me. The other thing this is it is a crucial game and I am not thinking too much about the captaincy but to just to give 100% and win the match tomorrow.

Thus far in 2014, New Zealand has been very successful, winning seven of their last ten games, drawing twice and losing only once. Sri Lanka has been even more successful this year, only losing their most recent game against England.
