Porn star Miriam Weeks (also known as 'Belle Knox') has made quite the name for herself lately since her X-rated career was exposed. The Duke University student recently released some personal information about how her family found out and how its affected her and the public.

Miriam Weeks Wanted To 'Cry' After Public Outing?

A fellow student of Weeks had outed her work in the adult entertainment industry. When she gave an interview with radio personality Howard Stern on Monday, she came to the realization that the situation would be all over the news, which is when she decided to tell her parents.

"I actually had all my porn friends sitting around me, we were all holding hands and we put the phone on the table, we were waiting for my mom to text back and like, 'it's going to be okay, it's going to be okay!'" Weeks said about telling her mom.

Miriam Weeks To Continue Doing Porn After College?

Weeks mentioned that her father didn't seem to upset. He was stationed over in Afghanistan when he found out, which apparently caused people to judge both him and as his daughter.

"My father's a war veteran, he's a hero and people are maligning him," Weeks said about her father.

"It's a psychoanalysis, you know, if a girl does porn or is sexual, she must have daddy issues or she must have something wrong with her father," she continued.

Weeks also mentioned that she had a great upbringing and that she couldn't ask for better parents.
