As the drama continues to heat up in Port Charles, the crimes that some of the city's most prominent citizens have committed are slowly beginning to catch up to them on General Hospital.

Ava A Suspect In Both Nina and A.J.'s Deaths?

One of the most prominent criminals has been Ava Jerome (Maura West). Before she even arrived in town she had killed Silas' (Michael Easton) wife Nina, and since her arrival she killed Connie Falconeri, and had a role in A.J. Quartermaine's (Sean Kanan) death. She has so far remained out of prison and not been suspected for her crimes, but that could change in the Wednesday, April 2 episode.

"The person who shot A.J. is still out there," her brother Julian (Michael DeVry) tells her in a preview clip of the episode.

A.J. Dies

Meanwhile, Silas, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Nathan (Ryan Paevy) are planning on a way to ensnare Ava so that she pays for killing Nina now that Silas has been cleared of the crime.

"She'll dive right into our trap," Sam says in the clip.

Sonny (Maurice Bernard) is also feeling the noose tighten thanks to Carly (Laura Wright) knowing he shot and killed A.J. If she turns him in to the police, he not only goes to jail for the crime, but loses his relationship with his adopted son, Michael (Chad Duell).

"Carly knows what I did to A.J.," he says in the clip to his henchman, Shawn (Sean Blakemore).

Obrecht's crime of kidnapping baby Ben could also soon catch up with her, as her hostage, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) reminds her that Ben is Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu's (Emmee Rylan) son.

"Britt has no right to that little boy," Liz says.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
