Kerry Washington's due may be right around the corner!

The pregnant actress recently skipped out on the Scandal Season 3 wrap party, revealing on Twitter that she needed much rest for her body and the baby. 

"Super sad to have missed the #ScandalWrapParty & a night out with my #Scandal fam but very grateful to be getting some much needed rest! Xo," she tweeted on March 31. 

Washington also ditched an event after her husband Nnamdi Asomugha was honored by rapper Common's organization, The Common Ground Foundation. The gala, which took place on Sunday recognized the former football player's contributions and philanthropy highlighted from his Asomugha Foundation which focuses on uplifting, inspiring and education young people from underprivileged backgrounds. 

Cocofab.com noted that Washington may be over 9 months, as she could deliver any day now.

Washington and Asomugha married in a secret wedding ceremony on June 24, 2013. 

Scandal was cut from 22 episodes to 18 after news spread that she was expecting her first child. 

"The actress' spring due date would've made shooting those final four episodes next to impossible," TV Line's Ausiello wrote.

In an interview with HipHollywood at the Essence Women in Music event, Washington's on-screen dad said that he wishes her all the best of luck. 

"I think we celebrate the fact that she is obviously wonderfully married and wonderfully pregnant, and seeming to be enjoying the entire thing," the 66-year-old actor said. "So good luck to her."
