The drama between Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) isn't the only unsettling event in the Forrester Creations offices on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Katie's Fears Resurface Over RIdge And Brooke Working Together?

When Katie (Heather Tom) hears about Ridge and Brooke being named co-vice presidents of Forrester, she becomes livid and assumes Brooke is behind it all. Desperate to stop what she is sure is another one of her sister's schemes, she storms down to the office on the Friday, April 4 episode and has it out with her once again.

"I'm not an idiot. I know exactly what you're up to and you're not going to get away with it," she says to a shocked looking Brooke in a preview clip for the episode.

Eric Forces Brooke And Ridge To Work Together?

For once, Brooke is not behind any schemes to try and win Ridge's favor back, and is actually upset with him for not only choosing Katie over her, but for trying to oust her son, Rick (Jacob Young) from his presidency position at the company, and nearly dismantling Hope's (Kim Matula) fashion line as well. She no longer feels disillusioned by the spell of what she thought Ridge still was, and will tell Katie that she no longer wants or needs him in her life.

"I'm just glad that I don't need Ridge to be happy," she says.

Meanwhile, Ridge is fighting with Eric (John McCook) over the decision to make him co-Vice President with Brooke and not letting him have more control in the company by taking Rick out of his position. Though he has been able to convince his father to see things his way in the past, Eric is disgusted that Ridge ended things with Brooke for Katie, and won't listen to his son's pleas for power.

"You cannot expect to come back here and have things the way they were," he screams at Ridge in the preview clip.

However, when Ridge refuses to give up, Eric will concede that he can have back his old position of CEO, if he follows one shocking condition.

"You want to run this company? Get you're a-- back to Brooke where you belong," Eric says.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
