Dancing with the Stars switched up the routine on Monday night and tested competitors' adaptability by throwing them together with a new partner.

As the week 4 "Switch-Up Night" got underway, the judges eased the pressure by announcing that eliminations would be stayed until week 5. To rack up the points, however, the remaining celebrities needed to turn out stellar performances regardless.

It appears as if Meryl Davis and her ice dancing training can do no wrong on the ABC series. Despite momentarily losing Maksim Chmerkovskiy as her partner, Davis continued to showcase her Olympic talent with Valentin Chmerkovskiy and the duo scored 39 points for their Argentine Tango (see video below).

If Davis embodied the best of the evening, Candace Cameron Bure and Tony Dovolani unfortunately represented the worst. The Full House child star only garnered 7s from Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and guest judge Julianne Hough.

The rest of the stars landed scores that rested nicely in the 30s. James Maslow of Big Time Rush and Cheryl Burke proved to be Davis' stiffest competition when they pulled in a 35 for their tango routine.

Dancing with the Stars will return to ABC next Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
