On Monday, New Now Next reported that Logo TV has decided to remove the episode that featured the word from the air, and will not have any future episodes that involve it as well.

A spokesperson from the network made a statement with an apology and a heads-up for the future of the series.

"We wanted to thank the community for sharing their concerns around a recent segment and the use of the term 'she-male' on Drag Race," the spokesperson said. "Logo has pulled the episode from all of our platforms and that challenge will not appear again.

"Furthermore, we are removing the 'you've got she-mail' intro from new episodes," the spokesperson continued. "We did not intend to cause any offense, but in retrospect we realize that it was insensitive. We sincerely apologize."

The episode of RuPaul's Drag Race that involved the word "she-male" was when the queens participated in a contest where they looked at photos of female body parts and they had to determine if it was a man in female form or if it was indeed a physical female. Some of the images were close-ups of lips, legs, breasts and others. Some of the people in the pictures were of men while others included Christina Aguilera and RuPaul guest judge Michelle Visage.
