Haven't seen The Other Woman yet? Check it out, if only to see gorgeous Kate Upton running on the beach bikini scene. However, behind the scenes, her co-stars were running right alongside her cheering on an "uncomfortable" Upton.

Starring chick-flick vet Cameron Diaz, comic actress Leslie Mann, colorful rapper Nicki Minaj and Upton, this femme-comedy is about three women out-deucing a three-timing husband's cheating ways. Upton says she has her co-stars to thank for helping her through that scene.

"She was amazing," Diaz told Friday's Fox News on Upton, "She delivered above and beyond our expectation."

In the movie, Upton is one of three women being cheated on by the same terrible guy, Mark King (played by Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)

Diaz explains that Mark is just a device to emphasize female bonding (obviously one of her favorite things):

"We create a villain in Mark as the most extreme case of a terrible pathological liar, and we utilize that to serve our purposes... to bring the women together because of their relationship with him, otherwise they never would have known one another."

Although a veteran swimsuit model, Upton felt "uncomfortable" running in a bikini "because there was like 60 people staring at me, and [my co-stars] saw that, and they actually came and ran beside the camera to support me and were encouraging me," Upton said.

"So if you guys could shoot Sports Illustrated with me and encourage me, that would be so much fun!"

Sounds like female bonding happened on and off the camera.

Diaz even praised Upton's killer curves, "Are you kidding me? We got to see it firsthand," she said.

Go see The Other Woman, now open nationwide.
