R&B star Rihanna may be headed towards a battle with pop star Katy Perry ever since the Birthday singer supposedly insulted the Diamonds star's alleged boyfriend.

Rihanna & Drake Engaged?

Perry had an interview with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club that was published on Friday where she compared Rihanna's rumored boyfriend Drake to Juicy J, who was a part of Perry's hit song Dark Horse. But unfortunately, the part about Drake didn't come off as too pleasant.

"[Juicy J] is such a sweet, genuine guy. [He's] an amazing hard worker," Perry said. "I've worked with a lot of people that I've done little pieces on songs and not that they've got ego, but Juicy's the kindest. He's like the most kindest, sympathetic, sweet- I don't want to make him out like to be softer than Drake."

Perry then added, "I love Drake. He's like my secret diary."

This leaves some speculation if Perry and Rihanna are in some kind of dispute with each other, especially since there was a recent report that the Roar singer was apparently upset with the We Found Love star for getting friendly with Perry's ex John Mayer.

"It seems like such a low blow," a source told Heat published on Sugar Scape. "Rihanna has been so negative about John, she's always told Katy he's not worth her tears. So to find out that Ri was being all friendly with him is incredibly hurtful. Katy sees it as a betrayal."

The source also mentioned that Perry is refusing to let Rihanna hurt her.
