The Afghanistan cricket team is facing off against Hong Kong's team in the Asian Cricket Council Premier League on May 1.

Afghanistan is playing Hong Kong on Thursday in one of the very first games of the 2014 Asian Cricket Council Premier League of play. The teams are playing at Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The last time Afghanistan and Hong Kong had played each other, it was on March 18 in a match that was won by Afghanistan. The team had won by seven wickets.

The Afghanistan cricket team consists of the following squad of players:

Jamie Atkinson (captain/keeper), Aizaz Khan, Ankur Sharma, Babar Hayat, Ehsan Nawaz, Hasseb Amjab, Irfan Ahmed, Roy Lamsam, Manjinder Singh, Nadeem Ahmed, Nizakat Khan, Skhawat Ali, Tanwar Afzal, Waqas Barkat (wicketkeeper) and Anshurman Rath.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong has the following squad:

Mohammad Nabi (captain), Aftab Alam, Amir Hamza, Dawlat Zadran, Hashmatullah Shaidi, Mirwais Ashraf, Mohammad Mujtaba, Nasir Jamal, Noor Ali Zadran, Rahmat Shah, Samiullah Shenwari, Shafiqullah, Shapoor Zadran, Usman Ghani, Afsar Zazai, Javed Ahmadi, Najeeb Tarakai and Sharafuddin Ashraf.
