Kevin Spacey To 'Bow Out,' Nervous About Saying Anything About Series?

In an E!Online interview last month the actress suggested that she would be willing to return on the show as Zoe's ghost or even as a completely new character.

Frank Aiming for More Than 'Presidency' as Show Gets Darker, Kevin Spacey Reveals?

Zoe was shockingly killed-off early on in the last season at the hands of Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey). But while Mara's careless jokingly implied suggestion got fans hopeful about seeing her creating intrigue on the political drama again, it is starting to seem highly unlikely that she will show up in any shape or form.

Mara is now busy with other projects, the main one being the upcoming film adaptation of Fantastic Four. It was reported on May 6 that filming for the movie had begun, and it seems like Mara will be busy with that for a while. Mara will be playing the part of Sue Storm in the movie.

Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
