Now that Teresa's mortgage fraud case has been dismissed, Legal Crisis Manager and Setencing Expert Wendy Feldman has broken her silence on how difficult the entire fraud ordeal is for The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars.

She spoke to E! News Wednesday on the mortgage case being tossed out while revealing the day to day struggle they have.

Teresa 'Relying on Faith' Amid Legal Troubles?

"This is a major victory for Joe and Teresa as much has been said that's just plain wrong. This just shows how complex the truth and this case really are. When clients have to stand by and remain silent to allow the process it's very hard."

Feldman added that more will come to light as the sentencing date of July 8 quickly approaches. But she reminds everyone that they are more than reality TV superstars.

"...Never forget these are real people who are caught in the system. I applaud Joe and Teresa for continuing to handle this case with dignity and respect as keep our faith in our justice system."

Still, Joe is in trouble when it comes to the mortgage case as he could be convicted for punitive damages as a result of his ex business partner Joseph Mastropole's lawsuit against them.

The couple is also facing fraud charges they pleaded guilty of in March. Teresa could get up to 27 months in jail while Joe is looking up to 46 months. He could also get deported back to Italy after serving his sentence.
