Bill Confesses His Love To Virginia In New Preview VIDEO For Season 2?

Auberjonois (Boston Legal) will be playing the role of Dr. Papnikolaou, who was the inventor of the Pap smear. The introduction of this character could make for a very interesting development on the show -- could Dr. Pap's great accomplishment in the field of sex research prove to be competition for Bill Masters (Michael Sheen)? Or it could also be that the already famous doctor might take interest in Bill's research and even contribute to it in some way.

Vance will be playing the part of Dr. Hendricks, the head of an African-American hospital in St. Louis. Hendricks will be distinguished by his vision for a racially diverse workplace in his hospital. Vance will have a recurring role on the show.

Masters of Sex Cast Disses Game Of Thrones Sex Scenes?

In April it was announced that Sarah Silverman would also be joining the cast, in a recurring role, of the Showtime series. The news of Silverman joining the show did stir up rumors as to if she would be playing Masters' new muse for experiments as Virginia (Lizzy Caplan) is now out the door. What actually lends more credibility to such rumors is the fact that Silverman is dating Sheen in real life.

Season 2 of Masters of Sex returns to Showtime on July 13.
