A New York Post report dated May 20 revealed that Kevin Spacey dished some advice to President Barack Obama's senior adviser Valerie Jarrett at Las Vegas' Bellagio during the SALT conference, hosted by event founder Anthony Scaramucci.

It seems like Spacey relayed somem gems he had learned from his fictional persona, Frank Underwood, which he thought could be useful for White House poilitics.

Frank Aiming for More Than 'Presidency' as Show Gets Darker, Kevin Spacey Reveals?    

A witness gave the Post a snippet of information that hinted at the nature of the conversation:

"Guests were having fun with Spacey, joking that we could use his [Machiavellian] Underwood approach to shape up members of Congress."

In fact, in a recent interview as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Spacey said Obama had also appreciated some qualities of the Netflix series.

Kevin Spacey To 'Bow Out,' Nervous About Saying Anything About Series? 

Spacey said that he had heard that Obama had watched the show and also that the president "wished that Washington was ruthlessly pragmatic as it is on the show." The actor could have been joking but we are inclined to believe that he was being serious.

At an event preceding the White House Correspondents Dinner, Wright had also suggested that she would like to see Obama guest star on the show and suggested that she would actually ask him if he would be willing at the dinner.

Barack Obama to Guest Star on Season 2 of House of Cards?    

The third season of House of Cards will film in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
